Gallery - Commercial Art & Websites     These are just a few of the sites that I have either designed and had developed by an outside development team as project manager or designed and developed myself. I write HTML, javascript, some CSS, some PHP without using web development applications such as Dreamweaver or Frontpage so my code is cleaner and loads faster. The development teams I work with are experts in Java, PHP, ASP.NET, MySQL and SQL server. Design and Project Management DataFlow Information System (DFIS) ~ www.dfis.com As CIO of DFIS, I designed the software applications that we developed for the insurance industry - APPexpress and SLAexpress. In addition, I designed various web-based modules that could be used to enhance insurance company websites. The DFIS website was a collaboration between upper management including me and a web designer. ELM Insurance Brokers ~ www.e-o.com I designed the e-o.com website in several phases to incorporate the APPexpress technology along with the various Web Optimization modules. The site has some public areas but there is a great deal of functionality available to users who have registered with the site. The backend incorporates some very rich funtionality that puts a great deal of control into the hands of the site owner. They have the ability to upload dynamic content such as news, links, and education materials; edit the static content of the site through a Content Management System; and do target marketing to the users of the site. SLAexpress ~ www.slaexpress.com SLAexpress started out as a desktop application called the California Surplus Lines Filing Software that I designed and had developed for a client of mine. When that client started DataFlow and brought me on board, one of my first tasks was to turn that app into a subscription-based online application. This is an incredibly feature-rich product that allows subscribed users (authorized CA surplus lines brokers) to enter their filing information, print signature-ready forms - completed SL-1 and SL2 forms, monthly vouchers for tax payments to the CA Department of Insurance (CDI), and year-end tax return for the CDI complete with Lloyds Syndicate breakdowns. In addition, there are many reports that are useful when reconciling with an in-house Agency Management System. Design and Development HomeStagingLA ~ www.homestagingla.com With the HomeStagingLA.com site, I was able to introduce some very nice gallery script to show off the client's staging talents in their best light without bogging down the site with load times. I originally created the look and feel that we carried through to the site in some flyers I designed for her. The flyers can be seen on the HSLA Q & A and Contact pages. New Millennium Wind Energy LLC ~ www.newmillenniumwindenergy.com The New Millennium Wind Energy site is actually under construction but it includes a few contact forms for Investors and Potential Employees that were written in PHP. DataStream Medical Imaging Systems ~ www.datastreammed.com I provided this start-up company with a branding package of logo design, web design, and PowerPoint template. New Millennium Group ~ www.nmg.com The client provided me with a logo design that they liked and I developed it into a look and feel for their entire website. Below are some additional sites that I designed and developed originally that have since been turned over to larger marketing companies. These sites are hosted on my website now with the clients' permission. Dubnoff Center for Child Development The Dubnoff Center hired someone else after a few years but this is the original site I created for them. Hotel Oceana Santa Monica & Santa Barbara These are the original Hotel Oceana Santa Monica and Santa Barbara websites – they were created as two websites but they fell under one company and at the time I was hired to brand them so they were more similar in look and feel. Again I was given a logo that the client liked and asked to create a site that haad the same look and feel.
